Private Pages

Sometimes you just don’t want other people to know what you’re doing. Doc5 aids you in your Secret Squirrel activities by allowing you to mark your pages as private which means they're hidden from other users by default.

When a page is marked as private, no one other than the page owner (and those they allow) will be able to view the contents of the page. Instead they will see a message advising them it is a private page and the owner’s user name if they wish to request view access.

To set a page as private you must be the owner and then it’s just a case of clicking the More button and selecting the Permissions option while editing your page. You are able to enter the user names of others you want to view your page and the users you add can have permissions defined on a case-by-case basis.
